We are looking to appoint an experienced candidate to support within the Design and Technology Department. The main role of the candidate is to prepare the materials needed for the Construction, Engineering and Product Design lessons. The successful candidate will be required to use a range of tools – both hand and machinery – with a range of materials, to prepare resources so that the students have access to what they need to achieve.

Our Art department is a well-established and well-resourced department with students' art and photography work displayed prominently across the whole school and features within local community galleries. Students study a strong foundation of Art & Design and Fine Art throughout KS3, and at GCSE, students have the option of studying Fine Art or graphics at GCSE. At A Level, students have the option of studying Fine Art, Graphics or Photography. We have well-equipped, light and airy Art rooms with a recently added extension to accommodate KS5 students. We have a kiln on site to accommodate a range of projects across the age-range.

This is an exciting opportunity for you to lead the department to further levels of excellence and build the curriculum around the skills and interests of the students and team. The staff within the department are well-qualified and passionate teachers of Art and Photography.

We are looking for a Higher Level Teaching Assistant to complement the work of teachers by taking responsibility for developing and delivering agreed learning activities under an appropriate system of supervision. This will involve planning, preparing and delivering learning activities for nursery-age pupils in groups and whole classes. Undertake specified work, including delivering lessons to small groups or whole classes on a regular basis within an agreed system of supervision and predetermined framework.
