Rotary Young Musician Vocal competition - 28/10/2022
On Thursday 27th October 2022, Cowbridge School hosted the Rotary Young Musician Vocal competition. Eight of our sixth form students performed, and it was a thoroughly enjoyable evening! All pupils performed exceptionally well and their behaviour was impeccable throughout. The camaraderie and support the students showed for each other was truly fantastic, and each singer gained valuable performance experience from the event.
Many congratulations go to Toben Durrant (Yr12) who achieved first place in the competition and Rhianna Hogg (Yr 13) who achieved second place. Both students will go to the next round where they will compete against pupils in schools around the Cardiff and Vale area. Huge congratulations also go to Isabella Davies (Yr 13) who achieved 3rd place in the competition.
Thank you to Mr Green for his exceptional accompanying skills, and to Senior Jazz Group for providing a high standard of entertainment whilst the judges deliberated.
