Cowbridge School Shines at 'Music Night' in Cardiff - 10/07/2024

Students from Cowbridge School Junior Vocal Group performed in 'Music Night' at the prestigious Dora Stoutzker Hall at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, Cardiff. Pupils sang a range of pieces in the concert organised by Cardiff and Vale Music Service (CAVMS), including audience favourite 'Walking on Sunshine'. The choir was conducted by Year 12 pupils Lilli Bendall and Zach Corkhill with Mrs Pritchard on piano. To finish the concert, they joined the massed brass, wind and percussion forces of the Capitol Youth Orchestra for a rousing version of Cwm Rhondda to conclude a brilliant evening of music making. Pupils were commended for their excellent musical contributions and outstanding behaviour throughout the evening.
