The Sir Thomas Mansel Franklen Trust is constituted under a trust deed dated 9 March 1983 and is a registered charity number 525559.
The objects of the charity are to provide for Cowbridge School special benefits of any kind not normally provided by the local education authority and promoting the education, including social and physical training, of persons who are or were pupils at Cowbridge School and who are in need of financial assistance. The charity is open to all pupils in line with its charitable objects.
The objects of the Charity include the provision of education to persons who, firstly, are or were pupils of Cowbridge School and, secondly, are in need of financial assistance. In this respect, “education” includes social and physical training. These notes are designed to assist those considering an application within this category.
